Level One Uitzendbureau is a rapidly growing organization, specialized in offering long term and seasonal jobs for temporary workers, taking care of the remuneration system and delegating workforce. Level One Uitzendbureau operates in various sectors including wholesale, technology, business services, industry, agriculture and horticulture. Our head office is in Emmeloord and we offer jobs in Flevoland and Friesland region.

We are looking for an Expedition worker for one of our clients with many years of experience in pepper production. Our client, which has 160 hectares of greenhouses and grows peppers in these modern greenhouses, is looking for people who would like to work in the production hall in the sorting and packing department. The company supplies paprika products not only to Dutch supermarket chains but also to other European countries.

 About the job

• Preparing the daily loading notes;
• Consulting with your colleagues to find out when the orders will be ready;
• Communicating effectively with the planners of the transport companies about loading times;
• Receiving goods (packaging materials) in the correct manner;
• Performing various administrative tasks, such as processing shipments in the WMS system;
• Throughout the day, dozens of trucks will arrive to load bell peppers and unload packaging materials. You make sure to know exactly who arrives and when, and you will instruct the drivers to ensure they take the correct load of bell peppers. Working efficiently is second nature to you, ensuring the drivers can leave quickly and arrive on time at their destinations elsewhere in Europe;
• We provide healthy and high-quality bell peppers to our customers and you will contribute to this by performing daily quality checks on the final product. You will inform the manager of the processing hall about your findings and prepare a quality report for your colleagues;
• You will be the one who knows exactly, without stressing, which bell peppers go into which truck and to which customer;
• You will have regular contact with pallet drivers and team leaders of the packaging lines;
• Hourly rate: € 15,05;
• Working time: flexible day and afternoon shift;
• 5 - 6 working days per week;
• 40 - 50 hours per week;
• Overtime:
  • above 8 hours per day is paid 135%;
• Weekend allowance:
  • Saturday is paid 150%;
  • Sunday is paid 200%.

 What is required

• Good English language knowledge or Dutch
• Driving license

• Long term work in the Netherlands - after one year you can get an undetermined contract
