We are looking for Fiber optic groundwork and installation employees for one of our clients – the specialist in the installation of fiber optic networks.

 About the job

• As a fiber optic groundwork and installation, you will prepare sites for the installation of fiber optic networks outside;
• Performing manual and machine excavation work;
• Carrying out paving work as part of the installation process;
• Various physical activities related to the installation of fiber optic infrastructure;
• You start 1 day a week in Gorredijk to go through the planning/activities; the rest of the week is spent at various locations by clients;
• Outside job;
• Hourly rate: € 18.00;
• 5 working days a week;
• Minimum 40 hours a week;
• Overtime:
  • after 45 hours per week, the first 2 overtime hours are paid 128,5%;
  • after 47 hours per week, is paid 146,63%;
• Weekend allowance:
  • Saturdays are paid 146,63%;
  • Sundays and holidays are paid 184,52%.

 What is required

• Good English language knowledge;
• Driving license B (BE is advantage);
• Similar work experience in installing underground infrastructure (fiber optic);
• VCA certification is required (or willingness to achieve if not already present). Start of work is possible prior to certification;
• Technical insight;
• A preference for experience with excavation work, operating mini cranes and street work;
• Long-term involvement and the ambition to grow into a fully-fledged installer.
