We are looking for employees to wrap bell pepper stems around strings for one of our clients who has many years of experience in growing bell peppers. Their modern greenhouses cover an area of 160 hectares and they grow bell peppers in four colors: yellow, orange, red and green. The company supplies pepper products not only to Dutch retail chains but also to other European countries.

 About the job

• Wrapping bell pepper stems around strings;
• Pruning the plant to maintain the 2 main-stem architecture of it;
• Work on special machines, possible at heights of 2 – 4 meters;
• Warm conditions inside greenhouse;
• Hourly rate: € 15,47;
• Working time: 07:00 - 17:00
• 5 - 6 working days per week;
• 40 - 50 hours per week;
• Overtime:
  • above 38 hours per week is paid 135%;
  • above 8 hours per day is paid 135%;
• Weekend allowance:
  • Saturdays is paid 150%.
• Bonus:
  • All employees receive a bonus of €15 net per week worked (minimal 3 days), which is paid out twice a year in April and October if your work performance is meeting the company required standard;
  • Additionally, there is a second bonus in this specific department (toppen draaier), namely €20 net per week from week 12 to week 30 (that is the period when employee can make the standard), provided that him meets the required standard . The standard depends on the color of the peppers and the location. This is an extra bonus on top of the €15 bonus that can be rounded up throughout the year.

 What is required

• Knowledge of English or Polish language;
• Driving license is an advantage;
• Similar work experience is an advantage;
• To be able to work individually and in a team;
• Ability to work in warm conditions;
• No fear of heights;
