Level One Uitzendbureau is a rapidly growing organization, specialized in offering long term and seasonal jobs for temporary workers, taking care of the remuneration system and delegating workforce. Level One Uitzendbureau operates in various sectors including wholesale, technology, business services, industry, agriculture and horticulture. Our head office is in Emmeloord and we offer jobs in Flevoland and Friesland region.

We are looking for employees to work in the peppers’ harvest for our client who has many years of experience in pepper production and grows 4 colours of peppers: yellow, orange, red and green. Our client, which has 160 hectares of greenhouses and grows peppers in these modern greenhouses, supplies pepper production not only to Dutch supermarket chains but also to other European countries.

 About the job

• Cutting peppers from the plants;
• Working in a greenhouse in warm conditions;
• Hourly rate: € 15,47;
• Working time: 07:00 - 17:00/18:00;
• 5 - 6 working days per week;
• 42 - 50 hours per week;
• Overtime:
  • above 8 hours per day is paid 135%;
• Weekend allowance:
  • Saturday is paid 150%;
• Bonus:
  • All employees receive a bonus of €15 net per week worked (minimal 3 days), which is paid out twice a year in April and October if your work performance is meeting the company required standard.

 What is required

• Knowledge of English;
• Driving licence is an advantage;
• Experience in a similar role is an advantage;
• Ability to work in warm conditions;
• Possibility to stay until the end of the season (6 - 8 months) or all year round;
• Must be able to distinguish between colours and not afraid of heights;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Responsible attitude;
• Motivation to work.

 What is NOT required

• Knowledge of Dutch language.
