We are looking for order picking employees for one of our clients in Nieuwleusen.

 About the job

• Order picker is responsible for preparing and compiling orders (usually picking the bicycles according to the orders). Additionally, the Order picker is involved in the intake, storage, and preparation of goods for shipment. Order picking using Man-up truck.
• Working independently or in small teams on single-task assignments; Most tasks follow a fixed, repetitive pattern.
• Consulting with the direct supervisor in non-standard situations
• Ensuring a clean and organized work environment
• Packing/unpacking goods
• Palletizing goods
• Unloading or loading goods

From Monday to Friday, you can pick up bicycles from Cortina, Batavus and Koga, among others, from the racks. With a warehouse truck you go up. Of course we work safely and you wear fall protection. You are therefore not afraid of heights. You put bicycles in the racks that have come in for storage. Or take them out of the rack and put them in the right location for transport. You are physically lifting bicycles in and out of the rack. You no longer need a gym! Experience is not necessary, you will be trained on the basis of a buddy system. In no time you can get started independently. Working Conditions:

• Works in a noisy environment
• Flexible working hours may be required in certain situations
• 3 shifts:
  • 07:00 - 15:00
  • 15:00 - 23:00
  • 23:00 - 07:00
• Start hourly payment €17,34 = €15,24 + 13,75% shift allowance (every hour is paid at 113,75% because of working in different shifts)
• 40 - 45 hours a week (0,5 hour is deducted for break time)

 What is required

• Good English language knowledge
• Driving license
• It is an advantage if there is a forklift certificate or experience with a man-up truck
• Experience in a logistics environment is preferred
• Able to express oneself clearly and neatly in Dutch or English, both verbally and in writing
• Physically fit and not afraid of height
• Stress-resistant
• Flexible
