● Reach truck driver (ice cream factory)

Level One Uitzendbureau is a rapidly growing organization, specialized in offering long term and seasonal jobs for temporary workers, taking care of the remuneration system and delegating workforce. Level One Uitzendbureau operates in various sectors including wholesale, technology, business services, industry, agriculture and horticulture. Our head office is in Emmeloord and we offer jobs in Flevoland and Friesland region.

We are looking for Reach truck drivers for one of our client – a proud family business that produces ice cream that is available in Dutch and foreign supermarkets.

 About the job

• You are responsible for loading and unloading shipments;
• You ensure that correct transport documents are used and are responsible for the incoming and outgoing of produced pallets;
• Move pallets in and out of the warehouse and freezer;
• Operate handheld scanner, palletizer, labeler, pallet warehouses, shuttle systems, racks, reach and forklift trucks and pump trucks;
• Sometimes stacking boxes on the pallet (by hand), if it is necessary;
• Checking stock (counts);
• Export (unloading and storage) of the incoming goods (raw materials and packaging materials);
• You operate various tools and work in both the freezer and the warehouse;
• It is -25ºC in the freezer but the cabin in the reach truck is heated and company provides warm clothing;
• Hourly rate is € 19,27 and every hour are paid at 132,32%: € 14,56 + 32,32% = € 19,27 because of working in 5 shifts;
• 6 days working, 4 days off;
• 33,6 hours a week;
• Working in 5 shifts:
  • 2 days morning: 06:00 - 14:00;
  • 2 days afternoon: 14:00 - 22:00;
  • 2 nights: 22:00 - 06:00.

 What is required

• Good English language knowledge;
• Driving license;
• Work experience as a reach truck (minimal 1 year);
• Reach truck certificate is an advantage (if you do not have it yet, you will have a possibility to obtain it here);
• Understanding of logistics processes;
• Possibility to work in different shifts;
• Motivation to learn.
