● Reach truck driver (ice cream factory)

We are looking for Reach truck drivers for one of our client – a proud family business that produces ice cream that is available in Dutch and foreign supermarkets.

 About the job

• You are responsible for loading and unloading shipments;
• You ensure that correct transport documents are used and are responsible for the incoming and outgoing of produced pallets;
• Move pallets in and out of the warehouse and freezer;
• Operate handheld scanner, palletizer, labeler, pallet warehouses, shuttle systems, racks, reach and forklift trucks and pump trucks;
• Sometimes stacking boxes on the pallet (by hand), if it is necessary;
• Checking stock (counts);
• Export (unloading, storage) of the incoming goods (raw materials, packaging materials);
• You operate various tools and work in both the freezer and the warehouse;
• It is -25ºC in the freezer but the cabin in the reach truck is heated and company provides warm clothing;
• Hourly rate is €17,11 because of working in 3 shifts, hours are paid at 117,50%: €14,56 + 17,50% = €17,11;
• Working in 3 shifts: first week in the morning shift, second week in the afternoon shift and third week in night shift;
• Working time of shifts:
  • 06:00 - 14:00
  • 14:00 - 22:00
  • 22:00 - 06:00

 What is required

• Work experience as a reach truck (minimal 1 year)
• Reach truck certificate is an advantage (if you do not have it yet, you will have a possibility to obtain it here)
• Understanding of logistics processes
• English language knowledge
• Driving license
• Possibility to work in different shifts
• Motivation to learn

• Hourly rate is €17,11 because of working in 3 shifts, hours are paid at 117,50%: €14,56 + 17,50% = €17,11;
