About the job
As a Transport Planner within Level One, you are responsible for coordinating and organizing the daily transportation of migrant workers to and from their work locations. You play a crucial role in efficiently and timely planning transport, taking into account changing work schedules, traffic conditions, and the specific needs of both clients and employees.
You will work closely with drivers, clients, coordinators, nightshift and our recruitment team to ensure smooth transportation. Additionally, you will maintain communication with coordinators about migrant workers to ensure they arrive at their workplaces on time and safely. Last but not least, you are trying to optimize transport (efficient routes, optimization of passengers in cars, etc) to save time, effort and energy.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Planning and coordinating the daily transportation of migrant workers to various work locationsOptimizing routes and deploying vehicles based on work schedules, traffic conditions, and driver availability
- Collaborating closely with drivers, temporary workers, and coordinators to meet all transport requirements
- Monitoring trips and responding promptly to unexpected situations (such as delays or breakdowns)
- Ensuring timely communication with drivers and migrant workers about departure times, pick-up locations, and any changes
- Performing administrative tasks, such as bike/car registrations, checking and processing hours, and reporting incidents
- Actively contributing to the improvement of the transportation process by identifying bottlenecks and proposing efficiency enhancements
What is required
- Minimum vocational education level (MBO), preferably in logistics or transport planning
- Some experience in a similar role, preferably in the logistics sector
- Excellent communication skills in Polish and English; knowledge of other languages (e.g. Dutch) is a plus
- Stress-resistant and able to switch quickly in a dynamic environment
- Affinity with Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel)
- Customer-oriented and flexible, willing to work in rotating shifts
- In possession of a category B driving license
- Able to work from +/- 10:00 till 18:30 and sometimes during weekend
